Apostle Christopher L. Mack, Sr. was born on January 24, 1978, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He was educated in the Pine Bluff School District, graduating from Pine Bluff High School in 1996, and later attended the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff where he majored in Education. On June 16, 2006, he earned a Bachelor of Biblical Studies from Lake Charles Bible College in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Apostle Mack accepted his call to ministry in 1997 at Prairie Lake M.B. Church, where he served as Minister of Music. Before stepping into full-time pastoral ministry, he built a successful career as a General Manager at Pizza Hut, where his leadership skills led his store to be ranked among the top 20 in the southern region.
On February 8, 2003, God led Apostle Mack to Highland Baptist Church, where he was elected Senior Pastor. Under his leadership, the church experienced tremendous growth, culminating in the groundbreaking of a new 22,000-square-foot edifice. In August 2019, he led the transition to Highland Ministries, expanding its vision. He is also a member of In Covenant Ministries Fellowship, where Drs. Curtis and Linda Stennis serve as his covering.
Lady Shameka Mack answered her call to ministry and preached her first sermon on February 25, 2018, before being ordained on March 5, 2020. She stands alongside Apostle Mack as a foundational pillar of Highland Ministries.
Deeply passionate about social work and community service, Lady Shameka earned her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff in May 2023. She is scheduled to complete her Master of Social Work at Arkansas State University in August 2024, utilizing her education to provide expert care, empathy, and organizational leadership to the surrounding community.
Apostle Mack married his high school sweetheart, Lady Shameka Hopkins-Mack, on August 16, 1997. Together, they have been blessed with three children: Aeriel Mack-Parks, Alexi Mack, and Christopher (C.J.) Mack Jr.. They are also the proud grandparents to Collin Parks and Claire Mack. Together, they lead Highland Ministries with a cohesive vision for winning souls to Christ.
